Episode 1
After getting fired yet again, Helene (aka “Hell”) must figure out what she really wants before making her next move. But it doesn’t help that she stands in the shadow of her best friend Maike, an influencer who seems to have it all.
Episode 2
As she settles into her new role at a call center, Helene hides the truth about her job from her father – a lie that comes back to haunt her, as do childhood memories of his relationship with her mother.
Episode 3
While gleaning life advice from one of Maike’s videos, Helene takes a leap of faith and signs up for cello lessons, where she finds a spark in more than just her newfound interest in music.
Episode 4
When an off-the-cuff lie manages to catch up to her, Helene must appeal to Oskar with a very strange request. Years earlier, eleven-year-old Helene instigates a confrontation between her parents that has an unintended ripple effect.
Episode 5
Newly jobless but rapidly falling for Oskar, Helene finds herself in need of cash to book a spur of the moment romantic vacation with him.
Episode 6
As she prepares to introduce Oskar to her mother, an overly excited Helene begins a new job at the airport – and prays it goes even remotely as well as her initial interview.
Episode 7
After receiving an unexpected gift (and news) from her mother and Dr. Spellart, Helene makes her way to an art exhibit without an invite – and faces the consequences of a rash decision.
Episode 8
After witnessing a tragic gathering of her friends and family, Helene begins a radical honesty tour with those in her life and most of all, herself.
